March 2005–bloodwork reveals hormone irregularities, but no official diagnosis as everything is “borderline” but they can’t pinpoint the root cause and my insurance won’t cover any other testing. Doc recommends BBT charting and OPK’s for a few months before more testing.
3/05-7/05–4 consecutive months of OPK’s–NO ovulation at all
7/21/05–first time ovulating pretty much all year (still didn’t know if I was reading the test right since I had never gotten two lines of the same color/tone before)
8/6/05–BFP pregnancy test(s)!!! Shocked and excited!
3/8/06–Son was born at 33 1/2 weeks after complicated pregnancy (pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes)
6/2008–stopped using BC completely (other than when I knew I was going to have surgery) Cycles vary from 35 days to 65 days w/o explanation. No pregnancy at all, so far have only had 4 periods in 2009, with two of those coming in the same month (stress?)
9/21/2009–visit to OB to figure out “the problem” Jump started cycles with a round of Provera. Got Rx for Clomid and Provera, blood work scheduled for days 13 and 22 for the next 3 cycles.
11/1/2009–started Clomid, 50 mg dosage
11/3/2009–started Premarin
11/9/2009–estradiol check
11/22/2009–progesterone check
11/27/2009–Blood test results. Estradiol 350 (normal 450), Progesterone 10.1 (normal 20)
12/1/2009–Started clomid again–100 mg/day CD 4-8
12/14/2009–Estradiol check
12/16/2009–Positive OPK result!
12/22/2009–Progesterone, A1C, fasting blood glucose, and free insulin tests (checking for any possible blood sugar/diabetes issues.)
1/5/2010–Estradiol and Progesterone good–A1c, FBC, and Free insulin not good. Round 3 will be 100 mg Clomid CD 5-9, Premarin CD 7-13, and 1500 mg metformin per day.
2/2/10–Positive HPT, using First Reponse Early Result test
2/3/10–Beta Hcg test, positive at 22…weak, but positive. Progersterone 14.3. Will repeat on 2/8/10.
2/8/10–Miscarriage at 5 1/2-6 weeks
3/8/10–After one month of not trying after the miscarriage, BFP on First Response test. Blood work shows Hcg at 34.
3/10/10–Hcg up to 94!
3/24/10–sonogram, gestational sac detected but no fetus. Repeat blood work hcg and progesterone.
3/25/10–sonogram with high res ultrasound shows fetus 5 wk, 2 days and a heartbeat!, hcg at 6900, progesterone dips to 11.3.
